The main transpotation in Hong Kong is public transport system include MTR (metro), taxis, ferries, trams and The Peak tram which cover extensive areas of Hong Kong and have signs and announcements in both English and Chinese.
香港主要交通工具為公共交通工具如港鐵、的士、渡輪、電車或山頂纜車，大部分交通工具都設有空調，並提供英文及中文標識，行駛路線遍及全香港。
MTR (metro) 港鐵
港鐵是香港覆蓋率最大的地鐵系統，其中的羅湖站及落馬洲站，連接中國內地的入境口岸。港鐵提供成人遊客全日通及3-11歲的小童遊客全日通，票價分別為港幣$65及港幣$30，憑票可在發票當日起一個月內的任何一天(24小時)內，無限次搭乘港鐵*，詳情請參閱港鐵公司。
MTR system covers all major districts in Hong Kong, including stops at the boundary with Mainland China (Lo Wu Station and Lok Ma Chau Station). It's offers a $65 Adult Tourist Day Pass and $30 Child Tourist Day Pass (Valid for children aged 3 to 11) to enjoy any one day(24 consecutive hours) of unlimited travel on the MTR* to experience Hong Kong. The ticket is valid for one month from the date of issue.

Taxi 的士(計程車)
Taxis offer a 24 hours door to door service. Hong Kong taxis are colour-coded according to their operating areas. If you’re travelling to Hong Kong Island or Kowloon you’ll need to catch a red taxi. If you’re headed for the New Territories you’ll need a green taxi, and those going to Lantau Island will require a blue taxi.

Trams 電車
超過百年歷史的雙層電車，自1904年起開始在香港島行駛，電車途經過中環、灣仔、銅鑼灣及北角，是市區觀光的絕佳工具。電車由早上行駛至午夜，車資劃一為成人港幣$2.3 ， 小童(三歲至十二歲以下)港幣$1.2 ，乘搭電車時，由車尾入口上車，下車時，於車頭出口支付車資，可選擇以硬幣或「八達通」卡支付。

The Peak Tram opened in 1888, the steepest funicular railway in the world. It's the best transportation to the park , as most passengers agree, The journey takes only seven minutes and is a visual experience to remember, as skyscrapers glide past at what appear to be impossible angles while the tram makes its ascent.
若你要前往山頂，山頂纜車是你不二之選的交通工具。全程約7分鐘的山頂纜車緩緩爬坡，整個車廂幾乎45度傾斜著攀升，像坐過山車的前段，路旁的林木和高樓大廈彷彿往後倒退，別有一番滋味。
