酒店外觀與首飾盒外觀相似，以金、銀、銅三色為主色。

The design of MGM Cotai like a jewelry box, gold, silver and copper are the main color of the building.

亞洲首個移動劇院 ---- 美高梅劇院。劇院配備一個900平方米的特大高清LED顯示屏幕及可因應活動需要作出改動的座位設備。現時，美高梅劇院將呈獻三齣常駐表演，《The Experience炫》及《Destiny追夢》兩齣將會率先登場。

特色三 : 星級大廚米芝蓮餐廳

美獅美高梅引進了多間星級大廚餐廳，包括由來自新加坡的甜品師傅黃慧嫻開設的Janice Wong MGM、米芝蓮星級大廚及人氣烹飪節目《Top Chef》主持Graham Elliot掌舵的濤岸，秘魯星級名廚津村光晴主理的雅吉、星級主廚Mauro Colagreco主理的盛焰。

Janice Wong MGM由兩次榮獲San Pellegrino亞洲五十強「亞洲最佳甜品師」及3度在世界名廚峰會的最佳甜點師的黃慧嫻（Janice Wong）主理。Janice Wong MGM為甜品愛好者提供蛋糕、法式泡芙、麻糬、撻、雪糕、可麗餅、巧克力、糖果及各式精緻甜品。店內更設有高達7.3米，全球最大的巨型巧克力噴泉。

由屢獲殊榮的米芝蓮星級大廚及人氣烹飪節目《Top Chef》主持Graham Elliot掌舵的濤岸，以美國西岸舒適悠閒的生活品味作爲靈感，提供富加州風味的菜式。

雅吉 -- 澳門首家日式秘魯菜（Nikkei Cuisine）食府，由秘魯星級料理大師津村光晴（Mitsuharu Tsumura）掌舵，其位於秘魯首都利馬的日式秘魯菜餐廳Maido，榮獲得2017年San Pellegrino世界50強餐廳的第8位。

Aji is the first Nikkei restaurant in Macau and is overseen by Peru’s star Chef Mitsuharu Tsumura of the restaurant “Maido” in Lima, a Nikkei concept which ranked No. 8 in the San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017.

特色四 : 藝術美高梅

美獅美高梅不但是一間酒店，更是一間囊括超過300件頂級藝術珍品的「博物館」，藏品包括清朝古董地毯、出自著名藝術家手筆的現代及當代亞洲畫作和雕塑、本地和鄰近地區新進藝術家的委託創作，以及大型裝置藝術品等。視博廣場設有全球面積最大的室內永久LED屏幕，展示美高梅與世界知名藝術家包括Joel Sartore、Magda Indigo、Garth Williams、Rob Kesseler和Wolfgang Stuppy合作的數碼藝術作品。
